Unemployed local people wishing to return to work in an administrative environment but lacking the skills are invited to participate in a part time training programme in Office Administration and ICT skills. The training programme is delivered Monday to Friday from 10.00am to 2.00pm in Mourne Estate Resource Centre, Skerries over a period of 44 weeks with a start date of September 1st 2008. All participants acheive a comprehensive level of training which is relevent to employers nees. Talented children and teenagers have the opportunity to win up to €1,200 by entering St Margaret's Talent Competition on September 1st of this year. This is the eight annual talent competition held by St Margaret's Social and Entertainment Committee. It takes place in September and October in the Coolquoy Lodge and is widely considered one of the best showcases of talent in North County Dublin. The dates of the heats are September 28th and October 5th, with the final being held on October 19th. All shows will commence at 7.30pm.
