The Taste of India is one of the finest Indian Restaurants in Greenwich, combining a contemporary atmosphere with traditional Indian food in the heart of Greenwich. We are near the Cutty Sark and the National Maritime Museum – both world famous tourist attractions. The O2 arena on the Greenwich Peninsula is also nearby.

We are convenient for public transport being near Cutty Sark Docklands Light Railway. If you prefer a more scenic journey, then why not travel along the River Thames on the Riverbus and get off at Greenwich Pier station. We are only a few yards away. We are located on Greenwich Church Street which enjoys a thriving nightlife with many pubs, clubs and other restaurants.

We serve traditional Indian food in a contemporary, comfortable air conditioned restaurant. We are fully licensed with an extensive range of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks. If you are partial to a pint of Cobra beer – then you would have come to the right place!

All well known Tandoori and non Tandoori Indian dishes are available. We would particularly recommend our rare speciality of Chicken Muli – boneless spring chicken in fresh herbs cooked with tomatoes and green peppers. Our vegetarian dishes come highly recommended, with the special Vegetable Thali being one of the Chef’s recommendations.

We have a special lunch menu everyday and often a buffet at Sunday lunchtime. Work up an appetite by visiting the Cutty Sark, attending a show at The O2 arena or simply enjoying the fabulous views of the London river front before sitting down to a nice meal in our relaxing restaurant.
